Can't find a hardcopy of Superking but purchased an online copy on the AFV Modelers app to serve as a painting guide for the interior. I'm hoping it is PDF-based but I can't figure out how to browse the file structure on my iphone.

I didn't even notice this when posting the sprue shots but the axles on all of the swing arms on this sprue (Part #15) have been sheared off at the base. There are four copies of this sprue and the other three look fine. I'm assuming that Meng customer service will rectify the issue.

Last cavalry has superking in stock for $100
https://shop.lastcavalry.com/afv-modell ... g-reprint/
I've ordered from him several times, my last order I got ammo of mig king tiger book for $18, it seams to be in back order now. Good luck on getting that sprue replaced.

Thanks for that info, Clint. That's actually a good price for this book. I spent $18 for a digital version of 1/2 of the book. Not sure I want to spend another $100 but I'll mull it over.

Meng already emailed me back and will be sending me a new sprue. Very responsive customer service!

Good to hear. I found it odd on how & why they got sheared off to begin with. Was the sprue factory sealed in the plastic bag?

Each letter sprue was sealed in its own bag. So all four B sprues were together in one bag. The sprues are packed pretty tightly within the box. Looking at the packaging a little closer, you can see how the inch-long axles on the top sprue had poked through the bag at one point. So they were probably pushing up against the top of the box. Some manufacturers design the sprue trees to protect parts that stick out from the sprue but not this time.

If Meng wouldn't make this right, it would be "relatively" simple to replace the broken axles with brass tubing. But they are mailing me a new sprue. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to the new sprues (which I warned Meng about).

I received the last component of this future build... the Master Club metal tracks!
Image

It comes with two types of metal tracks, a bunch of tiny resin pins and... no instructions.
Image

I guess, it's pretty self-explanatory but some instructions would've been nice, especially for a newbie like me. The tracks fit together in only one way so there is no chance of making a mistake linking the tracks together.
Image

Here is what the Master Club tracks look like compared to the kit's plastic tracks.
Image

It looks like the tracks will require some clean-up from some excess metal flash. Clean-up and assembly will probably take a while as there are 210 individual track links and 420 pins.
