It takes lot of hard work and dedication to make a model look this "bad"!

Thanks guys!

Borg- I think that's a compliment ;). I was inspired by an old truck in a field we used to play around and in when we were kids. I loved that thing and always wished I could fix it up and drive it...but it was not meant to be ;)

That looks a lot like the truck that a friend of mine in high school used to drive. Nice job! And thanks for reminding me of those carefree days.

So the shelf build keeps getting put aside as I really hate rigging...so I went with the other one remaining-

Most of the interior is in place...need to tone the gloss way down and weather the heck out of it all....

Side interiors and exteriors....

Still have some painting here and there on these....started working on the road wheels and had to stop and do something mindless for a while...

Thanks guys! Needless to say, after confronting some fit issues with the Buffalo and nearly throwing it into the wall...I have been focusing on this one for now...thank goodness Midway is a year build ;)

Here's where I am at after about two hours of work. The wheel assembly is not impossible but it sure is tedious and intricate...and the detail is impressive-- doesn't show up on my photo- but there is even cast numbers on this wheel-

The springs and assembly make it so everything is moveable...much like the AFV Club Churchills...

Needless to say, I had to put off the other side's assembly a bit to recollect my sanity, so I went along with weathering the interior with some pigments and Adam Wilder washes...

The diesel and oil washes were still a bit damp when I took the shots so they will settle down a bit when dry...
