What AB do you have ? I am not a specialist in airbrushes...
But analytically seen: is it something with the paint (and thinning) or "hardware" ?
Testing some other "definitely out of the bottle" paint, does that work fine when sprayed ? Just to exclude what the issue could be..
It is very annoying when things don't go as they should, don't trash the mi-24 yet!

The airbrush should be clean. It went in the sonic cleaner after the brown paint.
I think I will just practice my spray patterns tonight with some water/ink. And see if I can get that right. If that is the case the airbrush is fine. If not...

Current state of affairs is that I finished the top camouflage. Not very happy about it but sometimes you just got to get things moving again. The whole top is now masked of for the grey on the underside. Pics to follow shortly.

Also practical, that you put all the pics in one go, a good and efficient way to catch-up the current status... in one go! :-)

Thanks for this great update, everything looks awesome! That is an interesting approach painting the upper camouflage before the lower part. I usually do it the other way myself. I did that on my Nigerian Hind I'm doing..

Because of the black base I am working from dark to light colours. That is why the I do the light gray as last.
