I thought I had heard they were doing replacement parts in the USA. Guess not. Tomorrow, I will see if it fits.Stikpusher wrote:That’s not very helpful of a Revell. Well, at least you scratched up a replacement.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

I commend you for getting around that issue with Revell and getting a new panel scratchbuilt. Looks great Lyle! Keep it going man!

Stopping on this rascal while I am at least tied...maybe not ahead, but I can live with it. It fit before I added the "stuff".

My attempt. The door probably should be flush, but I am not that good at making that happen. The kit part had a window scribed in, but ref pics I've seen did not, so no window.

Very nicely done!

Looking good Lyle.
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting the head off a Hydra, two more take it’s place.

Thank you! The more I look at it, though, the less satisfied I am. However, I will still go with it. I pulled off some of the pieces of the bridge area so I can have a clear shot at adding this. We shall see!

The more I looked at the cockpit console, the more I did not like it. I redid most of it. Added some wider top pieces, added throttle levers, etc. I am a bit happier with the result. I'll a decal of the gauges later.

I think I'm done with this. My eye is crossed, my neck is tired and I am getting really tired of reattaching the wheel....Still have to make a decal or find one somewhere for the instrument cluster.
