Great work Clint,

The interior looks spiffy. The ammunition looks a bit dark on my iPad screen but no doubt better in person.

It does look a bit dark in photos and the RAL8012 looks way to red in the photos too, but both look good in person. I'll get some photos tomorrow of them next to 1945 steel lacquered 8mm ammo and also newer Russian 5.45 to compare. Life got in the way of doing any work on it today sorry everyone.

Started on some weathering today. My favorite thing to use on diamond plate is a No2 pencil gets a nice scuffed metal effect.

Added some chain (40 links per inch) that I get in the railroad section at the LHS so much nicer looking than flat PE chain tp the pistol port on the rear hatch.

Got the torsion bars in along with some of the subassemblies into the hull

That's all for this weekend hope to have her done this week before we go to North Carolina then back home to Tennessee for a few days.
Thanks for looking in!

Lotsa details in there. I'm with you on the use of a #2 lead pencil for weathering and bringing out highlights in a subtle way. I do it all the time with aircraft and autos. Works really good.

I'm liking what I'm seeing here so far Clint and can't wait to see more. Keep up the good work buddy.

Thank you guys, I'm wanting to keep weathering to a minimum and focus more on showing off everything inside.

Clint, this is really wonderful work! You are taking a superb approach throughout! Replacing the chain for example is just the right kind of upgrade to give the project. When do you leave? You will be missed.

The interior is coming along beautifully. I like the worn effect that you are putting in on the floorboards.
