Hi all,
Yes, I do indulge in 1:48 from time to time, but rarely post it. So I thought I'd at least make an opener here and lay my intention to build this pretty new kit from Eduard.
The scheme I'll go for is this:
I'll need a little time to complete, or at least mostly complete current commitments, so bear with me.
Good Morning Da Nang!
Re: Good Morning Da Nang!
Very nice! Got the same kit and I'm eyeballing the Marines VMFA-323 ship.
It might be next on my bench...really depends on whether someone gets off their keister and makes some GRU-5 bangseats for that new Hobby Boss A-6A first...

Re: Good Morning Da Nang!
I need to complete a Fokker E.I for Aces High magazine, and then hammer the Matilda for the LSM GB, but then the way should be open for this. I'm hoping to have the Eduard Bf 109G-6 sprues and resin in a week or two (might show that here before general release), and then there's the Ju 88C-0....

Can't wait to see this!!
I too would like to do a VMFA-323 jet. My father-in-law's birth father flew with them flying the FJ-4B Fury. He died while flying the jet near Japan.

Do love the Sundowners! Already have the regular F-4B boxing earmarked for that (and Academy's F-14A Sundowners boxing, too)Dave j wrote:Ohhh yes! Sundowners!

True, did you get any progress on that one since you've got those decals from one of our members?Medicman71 wrote: I too would like to do a VMFA-323 jet. My father-in-law's birth father flew with them flying the FJ-4B Fury. He died while flying the jet near Japan.
Can't recall his nickname right now..
With regards, Ninetalis.

Ought to be a nice one, Jim. Let's get going.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
