1/350 IJN Submarine I-400 Special Edition by Tamiya, kit no. TAM89776

Seems to be OOP these days, but who knows?
Here's one from Hobbylinc

and one from Scale Hobbyist

and Sprue Brothers

Sorry, all US based. Do you guys have to pay an import duty in Germany? Hobbylinc and Sprue Brothers both ship internationally, not sure if Scale Hobbyist does.

Aside from the rather high US prices we indeed have to pay import duty on the kit´s price and the postage! This would add another 19% to the costs of the kit and expensive mail order to Germany.

Thank you anyway!

Or... someone can buy it for him and not pay the import taxes. In a word, buy it and ship it to him stateside to overseas. That way it's not costing him more to send it. Just a thought... :hmm:

Thanks for this idea, BS214! But I think I will wait for the kit to get available from Japan some day. HLJ says it is OOP for now.
No worries, I still have one or two other kits in stash...

I'm actually looking for the instructions and decal sheet for the new Airfix P-51D Mustang; the one with the bare metal finish and sharkmouth markings. I have mine all the way to the decal stage but I haven't got the instructions or decals. I have no idea where they went. So far, no response from Airfix so if anyone can help; I'd appreciate it.

LOL! You have to ask? 1/72 scale! That's all I ever build in aircraft and armor.

:giggles: Had some hopes you accidentally got the 1/24 scale kit, hehe... :giggles:

Do you also have the kit number? Looking on ScaleMates there are some kits listed with the manuals provided as PDF.

I can check. but I'd still need the decal sheet after getting the manual. I'll look for the box and let you know. Thanks for the assist.
