Elegant lines. Never out of style. I think I like the engine mounting area, too. Looks easy and sturdy.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Very nice!

Those cockpit details are very nice in Airfix Mk.I. And the entire construction seems to better engineerd in this scale, than the sort of over-complex Eduard..

I think there's a trade-off between detail and simplicity of construction, but yes - some times these things can be massively over engineered.

That's a great kit Medic - it supposedly builds up well!

This is a wonderful topic thread! Thank you all for making this such a great place to visit. Stuart, I am really excited to see you building that kit and would like to read more of your impressions! Kari, your latest test assembly looks magnificent. Last but never least, Medic, wow! Build it.

Hi Bruce,

Yes they are part of an early fit antenna - I don't know the details but I'll check my ref's later.

Cheers!

PS. Eduards 1/72 kit is not an easy build... It just and just on the edge to become an annoying build... I can't remember the 1/48 that I started was this challenging..
But then again, I did not come further with the 1/48 Spitfire than this....
