Before finding perfect plastic putty I would use sprue goo. Making it from the left over part tree. I never tried scribing new panel lines like what you are trying to do, but rescribing lost detail, I could never get as crisp of a line like you can in the raw plastic.

Still futzing with the wing bottoms. I've re-attached the instrument panel with an additional spacer. The instrument panel hood was glued into place to protect the gun sight.

I've decided to replace the kit wheels with set of resin wheels from Barracuda.

Nice work with the detailing, John. I wanted to reply to Clint: I have found that Radu’s Scriber attachments plus the CA/Milliput combination does make a very good surface. Now on with this wonderful project!!!! Thank you so much for these posts, John.

Here is the Jumo 213E-1 engine. Nothing has been added... just kit parts. Even though it will end up being completely covered, I thought it would be shame not to at least paint it.

Anyway you can leave that engine out to display separately? It would be a shame to hide that.

Actually, you'll be able to see a bit of the engine rear through the wheel wells. There is also the slim chance that the engine/gun cowling will fit so well that I won't have to glue it into place. But the engine will most likely be hidden. And I'm ok with that. As long as I document the work with photos. I've added the engine supports...

Zoukei-Mura has provided a very nice engine out of the box.

That has to be the best nonresin engine I have seen. You did a great job painting and weathering it too. The exhaust has the right amount of rust it looks real.
