OK boys, after some more work, I think I'm finally done adding and buttoned her up. Guns on, as well as the antennas. I think I'm going to paint her black and red with the black having a star field. The "camo" will be a MS 32 18D pattern like North Carolina using the black and red, thanks for the idea Bruce. I'm not sure I'll paint any red on the superstructure but I'll see how dark it is. Anyway, here she is just finished, then with the black.

That's awesome! Can't wait to see it finished
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

LOL, thanks guys
I added the starfield to the black last night, right after going back to working on the Spruance.
If I get a chance tonight I'll start on the red.

Thanks Bruce, painting the red now. I am also going to paint the wing pods, hull vents, antenna and all engine nozzles copper, just to spice it up.

I’m really excited! The choice of colors is perfect. It suits the subject very well. There has been a discussion amongst my concept artist group re the use of orange (some consider over usage of orange) on spaceships, but a rich velvety black surface broken by red makes a lot of sense in space as well as continuity of design with battleships. I think your project is most innovative and creative and engaging. All the best.

LOL, thanks again guys.
Finished some red areas, I think it looks pretty nice so I'll add some more.
