Re: Airfix 1/48 Buccaneer
Okay....
So I got the box out the other night - played around with the sprues for a bit, and then packed it all back up and put it back in the stash. I have to say that given all the stress and crap life is throwing at us at the moment, I can handle another heavy-going build, the Victor I'm building for the jet GB is enough for now.
Mind you, I still want to build an RAF Bucc... So I've ordered one of these...
Along with some of these...
I have a couple of Sea Eagles I can fit to it as well. Should be a fun build - I've not built a new new tool Airfix kit for a while.
Cheers!

It’ll be nice to set the 1/72 Buccaneer next to the 1/72 Victor when they are both completed.

Cool! A friend of mine gave me that exact same Buccaneer kit for my birthday. I'll watch this one closely.

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.

Hey, any one know how much pirates pay for corn?
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
