Actually my first reaction was the silver looks perfect at scale and I was going to ask you how you did that. I will read comments first from now on. Beautiful fit and assembly to date, Stuart! Great job!

What silver did you use? And what paint lines do you have access to there in your neck of the woods?

Side note. It’s looking good so for! Are you going to build this with wings folded?

Thanks Carlos! And yes I'm building it with the wings folded - rude not too.

The silver is Humbrol Enamel number 11 silver. I might try one of Humbrol's metal costs - l think I have the full set.

Thanks Bruce - it's coming together despite me not really enjoying it. All the painting is free hand - I painted the silver areas first. It does need a fair bit of tidy up though.

You might really like those. The buffable ones can polish up pretty bright.

Nice work Stuart! The silver does look good.

I have two boxes of Humbrol tins; I think I'll see how many of the metallics I have since I do have a few aircraft to do a bare metal finish on.

Keep it coming Stuart!

Thanks Gents!

Borg, it's a great kit but build the old one you have, I'm building the old Matchbox kit alongside my Airfix one and I'm having a blast!

Cheers!
