Aww, man. I was going to create a FB group for that. Rats...

So why won't the PE fit?

Ah, it's not for the Airfix kit. The IP and the side panels are substantially larger.

I have managed to find one for the Hawk mk.51 on hannants - it's actually designed for the Airfix kit, so should fit...

That’s some nice looking PE! It’ll look great in there, Stuart!

Got the new PE set and Managed to sort out the IP and side panels today - Great to actually do some modelling. I've got to get the seats done and I'll take some pics.

I've ordered some new paints too - I'm going to go for this scheme I think...

You can't beat new paint Lyle!

So I DID say this was going to be a slow build, sop after a month here's were I am.

I've painted up the seats ready for some PE - don't worry I'm going to tone down that green :wow:

I've also finished putting the PE into the cockpit. This set isn't too bad, although I've had a few bits of the pre-paint flake off which is bloody annoying.

So slowly slowly I'm getting there!

What is it you say occasionally? "Cracking good!"? My goodness that looks great.
