That looks great! Whe I try res riding, it looks like I used a Medieval battle ax.

Me too Lyle! I don't mind doing it to replace a lil' detail lost to sanding, but I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a needle than do an entire plane. I admire those who can though; I encountered a guy on BM who lived in Argentina I believe, said he loved rescribing and did it to relax, lol.

He would've rescribing an entire kit for me but for some sort of import tax. Pity that, but understood.

Rescribing? Hell no. I don't mind doing if small details were lost from sanding. But a whole aircraft kit? I ain't got time for that. :giggles:

:giggles: Yes I'm rescribing the entire kit. I've done it a lot on older kits. Doesn't really bother me.

It's something I need to learn how to do, it would have really improved the look of the Tornado I'm building but I was limited on time - building it for a GB and all - but then I have two others in the stash :-D

Great work thus far Mike!

Stikpusher wrote:Stuart, their last kits were gorgeous… the 1/48 PBY, HE-111, Ju-52, F-84E/G, F-15E, and Stearman PT-17 all were as good as anything coming out from anything out of the Far East. Their 1/32 Hawker Hunter is probably one of the best aircraft models that I’ve ever built….
Yes I'd heard that - I quite fancy getting the F-84 at some point - another one I've never built :-D

Stuart, they are good model kits and build up nicely. I did this one a year or so ago; in the post I mention a few short-comings I encountered with the kit:

It's not that hard really. Just need the right tools.
