That's exactly what I was thinking Carlos. Do both sides and adjust them as you like Declan!Stikpusher wrote:Declan, I don’t know how much you work with metal tubing and rod, but you can easily fix that broken stabilator using that stuff, make it work, and be even stronger. Nice seam clean up work, BTW.

Actually! I did that. I got some wire, twisted it up, drilled a hole in the stabilizer and then super glued it on. They work now. Thanks guys!

Well I didn't really mind the seams. They were large, but really easy to deal with. I really want to do more of their kits. Good prices for good subjects in my opinion.Duke Maddog wrote:Speaking for myself, I have built a large quantity of Italeri planes, armor and helicopters, albeit in 1/72 scale. I'm not sure if it's too late to mention, but if you've not already glued the intakes, you should know that they should not be level with the top of the fuselage, but raised above it, as there is actually a vent at the top....

I like Italeri kits but every once in awhile there is one that just kicks my buttDuke Maddog wrote:Speaking for myself, I have built a large quantity of Italeri planes, armor and helicopters, albeit in 1/72 scale. AHA! So I checked the molds, the intakes DO line up with the fuse molded intake bits. I just have to drill out the little vents, no problemo.

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Well a few days ago I did a 2nd layer of the desert colour. Now it is too thick, and the details are getting covered.
