It seems that, when you are looking for something else, you find that elusive something.
I'll glue my MB 339 A back together, do a paint touchup, clear coat and decal. Photos to follow.

I got the decals on the underside of the aircraft, not as much touchup there. I hope the Tamaya paint does not react to the Rust-oleum paint, or all will be lost.

Looking good so far. The Tamiya paint should be good for any top coats as long as it has had enough time to dry and cure. It’s pretty hardy stuff once cured.

More decals, still more to go. Touched up the paint by spraying on aluminum foil and folding it over, then touched my brush to it

I saw the pics from that show. Those two dioramas are done by Martin Drayton. I saw them at Nats and is a super nice guy. I got to hang with him a little bit and attended his seminar.
