liquid cement

Post by LyleW »

Do you guys ever dump different brands together when bottles get low? Wondering if it would leave a smoking hole or what?

Not I. Although I will pour the last bit into a new fresh bottle of the same brand.

I'm the same. I will pour a little from a used bottle into a new bottle of the same brand. Sometimes if my Tamiya orange top liquid cement gets to thick, I'll add some green top thin to it to loosen it up. That's the closest I get to dumping different glues together.

Someone on a model forum, might've been FSM, chastised me when I said I used tanks of CO2 for airbrushing. They asked if I wasn't worried with that "bomb" at my feet.

Ha. I use co2 and recommend it when anyone asks about compressors. Some one once said about emitting all that co2 and displacing breathable air…. :headslap:
Thanks,
