Monty’s Humber

This is an old 1/35 scale Airfix kit (1975) I had purchased at Syrcon 34 for $15. I had watched a YouTube video prior to building it and watched how the builder assembled it and what to watch for.
There is no engine at all since the Humber body comes in halves. The only visible part of the engine you will see are the oil pan, oil filter, starter, exhaust system with a single header. You can see it in the photo below:
I will point out one thing this assembly stage is very hard to do. The front spring assembly which consists of 8 or 9 parts in all! I had spent two days working on it due to tiny parts and working slow. The rear axle with springs, gas tank were the easiest to do.
I painted the under carriage Tamiya XF-81 Dark Green 2 (RAF). The back side of rims are painted this color as well.
Tires using Mission Model Tires Grey.
