I usually write L and R on the tabs.

We all need reminders now and then! I usually write or scribe those labels on the attachment tabs!

Over the past week or so I got the basic painting of the model done.

I used the new Tamiya RAF colors here... still need to go back and do some touch ups on the Ocean Grey here and there... I want to have the decals on by the end of the week.

Man that looks good. I think my Mosquito will wear that same camo but I think I got the Mr Color paints.
I like the wing variants on the two spits your doing. Can't wait to see the decals on this one.
Thanks,
John

Thanks John. Yeah, seeing how these were the standard RAF colors in the ETO for day fighters and fighter bombers from August 1941 onwards, your Mossie will be in the same scheme. This one will be a little more colorful once markings are on, since it will be wiring the end of war high visibility upper wing roundels. I can wait to get the decals on this!

Chris & Tom, thank you. I used Silly Putty to mask for the hard edge camo. Still working on getting the hang of using the stuff.
