All over the map...

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I've been building kits all over the map... Spain, Pre-war Germany and the UK.

Spain... have to order Spanish roundel decals for this aircraft

Pre-war Germany... biplane, 1/72 scale. I've become a raging alcoholic rigging this one. Lost a brace this morning. Will look for it tonight.

UK... iconic bomber. Been working in sections.

All three auto kits I've been working on are put on thd shelf of doom. Lost the mojo building anything with 4 wheels. Spring 2024 most likely I'll resume it.

I hear ya. I have downshifted after finishing several builds over the past five months with time deadlines. Those GBs can take some fun out of a project if you overcommit (yeah I’m looking at the old man in the mirror) Now it’s a leisurely pace on a few “finish ups” between now and the new years when the next round of madness starts…

I think all my completed builds were American subjects this year too, one Japanese plane. Ideally I'd like to knock out the two American jets, two German armors, and a South African arty vehicle, and a sci fi bust that are all at about 85 to 90% completion.

I have actually ramped up production, at least for now. I'm pretty much all over the map too. My finished models and unfinished models come from:

Ancient Rome
Britain
United States
Russia
France
Israel
Germany
Italy

I have several models I can potentially get over the finish line by next week.

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.
