French 75
Re: French 75
Nice looking little build of a bit often seen subject. Did the kit come with the obligatory white flag?

That is really a nice looking piece of artillery Carlos!
(and again, fantastic photos !)
Difficult to get an idea of the size, it looks bigger than it probably is, thanks to pretty good details

Re: French 75
Stuart, nope, no white flag included. But I'll bet that many of these fell victim to Stuka's long before they had any chance to surrender. At least up until the Germans took Paris in June.
Kari, no, this is not a big field piece. I will pose it with a figure or two for reference once it is completed. Here are a couple photos from the 1940 Blitzkrieg to show how it compact that it was compared to the crewmen.

Re: French 75
So painting begins...
Yesterday in the midday I airbrushed on a coat of Gunze Aqueous Khaki Green for the base color
In the evening I painted the tires with Model Color Black Gray
then today I started weathering the tires, and on some of the trail and suspension... a glaze coat of Model Color Stone Gray
Tomorrow I should get the rest finished...
