Having gotten some birthday cash plus $40 cashed in from water/soda bottles, I'm still hashing out on what to spend it on over at scalehobbyist website. Decisions, decisions, decisions....

I remember doing the deposit thing on bottles and cans. My sons Boy Scout troop would have a can drive once a year. I think every state should do this. I get it no one wants to pay the extra tax on bottles and cans but at the end of the day, bottles and cans saved equals money back in your pocket.
With this last batch cashed in, I save up again right until a week before Syrcon in October. I usually get about $50 in bottles and cans by then.
