What a life's work

Post by LyleW »

This guy might have one or two more than Duke! Got this from John DeRossia from the Seattle IPMS

To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Oh yes, he has far more than I do. Then again, most of his are die cast cars that he purchased. Look at the side listing, showing additional videos you'll see a whole mess of people with huge collections of cars, and some other items. I guarantee you, the smaller collections are models made by the builder, like my collection. Those don't normally garner much attention because they don't achieve those numbers.

I commend the guy for his commitment to his collection and his generosity to his church. As Lyle said, this is truly a full life's work!

We are modelers - the same in spirit, in hunger to insanely buy newly released kits, hustlers in hiding our stash from our better halves and experts in using garbage as replacements for after-market parts.
