Fiat JP 32 - The Interceptor

Post by tigrazor »

Hi there...

The bench is completed, theres a little spare time left and time to model - heres the new project: A former SMER Fiat CR 32 will become a JP (=jet powered) 32 with some extra detail. Some figures will be there as well as a Revell US tractor. ;)

I have that kit in the stash. It is actually an old Artiplast kit, 1/50. I do not have such big plans for my kit but I will definetly follow this tread.

You cant sleep? Count some sheep! ;)

Theyre from Pegasus Hobbies, the oil barrel from Tamiya. Some decent washing, Maskol and pastel chalk was used here.

Where did you scavenge that front end from? It certainly looks good.

You probably already knew bit the Italians had a couple of (semi) jet projects going on in the 1930's. Such as the Stipa-Caproni and the Caproni Campini N.1. So an Italian jet whiff has some connection with history.

Its the inner part from the front end of a water tap. :) You can get them pretty cheap in as building market or something.

PE parts + plastic profile + putty = PHUN PHUN PHUN!!! :stirpot:

Maybe you remember the Vanship project - the JP 32 is gonna be a similar plane - but different. the Fiat is a perfect base for it.
