sorry not the next, that will be a RAF trainer in old style (Red /White /Gray) but I will build a finnish one, have seen the midnight hawks in Kauhava midsummer airshow in 2000.
Airfix is ok to build, but the details on the Italeri kit are better, you hve rivets and PE parts, the clear parts are thinner and better, on me home modelshop the price is more or less the same, but I like this marking so it was easier to buy a airfix kit than the Italeri and a decal sheet

Trainer in the "classic" red and white paint will certainly be a very good looking one!Cherrylock wrote: will be a RAF trainer in old style (Red /White /Gray) but I will build a finnish one, have seen the midnight hawks in Kauhava midsummer airshow in 2000.
Ah, you have been to Finland and on top of that in Kauhava! Great! :-)

Can you fly this plane and land it? Surely you can't be serious? I am serious, and don't call me Shirley

Another splendid addition to your Hawk family Peter!
I always find it a bit curious how various countries have fit heat seeking missiles from one bloc onto the aircraft of another bloc... Mirage IIICJs with Atolls, Mig-19s with Sidewinders, and here, Hawks with Aphids.

What is your opinion of the Airfix kit ?
& perhaps your next Hawk will be a Finnish version ? :-)

The Finnish Hawk looks perfect, the camo is precisely as it should be!
Can hardly believe it was 5 years ago I asked my question
