Has it really been that long....May! I finally got around to adding the final touches to the build. It took me literally about an hour to finish. I will take some better shots for RFI: https://i.postimg.cc/9XtT4sRz/15DEB436-0110-4495-BA6A-EA7162662A30.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/MpXjFTsj/31B22B21-BD0B-...

Re: 1/32 Revell He111 with HPH cutaway
Many thanks, I got a bit vigorous in cleaning up the join between the fuselage and the upper gun opening. It is a very thin join and prone to breaking. I reinforced it with some 0.5mm rod and sheet: https://i.postimg.cc/kX4s4QXC/0DE9360F-AD2B-48B1-96F3-5A4971801ECA.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/v8XXbqyX/...

Great work,
The canopy installation sequence is a winnerI think. I shall give it a whirl on my next 109. The whole build is looking great and an example of careful planning, execution and problem solving.

Re: 1/32 Revell He111 with HPH cutaway
Well it’s in. The old adage about a plan not working after the first shot is true. After fiddling for two hours with my planned install, I went with the front first then the roof and rear pieces put together and shuffled into place. The sides were then put in but it cost me some details and some ali...

Just noticed the drill bit you used. What type are they and can I find them? I could use something similar to fix flushed flash. Apparently they are called “brad point” or “w point” bits. I got mine in a cheap pack at Aldi here in Australia. Here is a guide to bits: http://www.toolcobber.com.au/pow...

Re: 1/32 Revell He111 with HPH cutaway
Just realised I forgot to include the progress (sort of) for the upper wing fuel area. The new piece was inserted into the wing and glued section at a time to conform to the wing contour. Unfortunately in drilling out the forward opening, I overlooked it so a piece of card was shaped and inserted in...
