I'm not sure what kit you're referring to. The styrene ones like my Hasegawa Falke are not expensive. I paid 39 Euros for mine. If you go for the high-end resin kits in big scale then yes, it gets expensive but one doesn't have to.

Yep, definitely Maschinen Krieger, like the armored suits. There are plenty of Ma.K models types: robots, drones, hovering tanks, armored space suits, lunar walkers, you name it. And quite a few figures too. There's even a forum dedicated to Ma.K modeling: http://maschinenkrueger.com/forum/

I Wanted to create some battle damage for my Falke. I used as a reference pics of tanks holed by anti-tank guns. I didn't go for the shredded look of mauled aircraft. Nice. I did this one a couple years ago. I used Eduard PE instead of resin. I see you use the CMK kit, which is the other route.

This is an excellent little kit. Have fun. I'll watch it come along!
