Re: Anti-Grav Drone Gunship
Lucas and Thomas, thanks a lot. Happy to see you're following this one! I painted it just like the Predator, USAF Gray. I used Gunze acrylic H308. The upper side was lightened with 40% white for color modulation, the very clear demarcation between upper and under sides lending itself particularly we...

Re: Anti-Grav Drone Gunship
Here's the other part of the engine, inspired like the rest by the MaK Falke. http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t410/traceur813/Drone%20gunship/Engine010.jpg http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t410/traceur813/Drone%20gunship/Engine012.jpg http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t410/traceur813/Drone%...

Re: Anti-Grav Drone Gunship
Thank you CallSignOWL. I made the thrust vectoring ion thruster following the engine's original schematics faithfully. The nozzle was done with the metallic point of a ballpoint, clad with strips of aluminum tape for petals. http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t410/traceur813/Drone%20gunship/Engine0...

Drones, The New Generation
I'd started this build last year but I'm just getting back to it now. I had started a topic for it but that was before the forum moved to the new server and that's gone now but I'll post the rest of the WIP here. I'll remind you that this is the MQ-1 Predator kit by Italeri in 72 scale. With some mo...

Re: A Camel In Space...
Really cool! Nice paint job on the camel. I like the final rendition of the dio better than the original too.
Just one question: how do you manage to get this cracked effect on the terrain. You mention something about tension but I don't get it.

Re: Commissar Yarrick
Thanks Thomas. I paid 16 Euros for it, can't say I regret it. the figure can be made into a nice piece with some work.
Not much progress to report. I'm currently working on another project: my anti-grav drone gunship. Pics coming soon.
