That is amazing work Bruce! Yes, slow and steady does it; that is how I made my huge An-124. I'm doing the same with my very large Bear and Badgers. You rock Bruce!

Re: The Duke's Second Aircraft Done in April
Thank you Lyle ! I'm glad you like it. Thank you Steve ! Yeah, it builds so well and so smoothly, it's surprising to me that so few have built one. Maybe the bare metal finish puts people off. I'm glad I got mine done. Thank you John Kdog ! If I recall correctly, it was the Air Force version of the ...

Re: The Duke Finishes Another Aircraft in April
Thank you Stuart! I agree, but with all the issues this has, I'm not surprised most people haven't built one. Maybe someday someone will release a more modern kit that fits better. I ado totally agree that it looks so much better with the nose up.

Re: Three More Models in April by the Duke
Carlos, I agree.That would rock!
John, I have three of those sets, one of which I've been working on. All the wagons are done, and the mules have been base painted. Just need to detail them and fins a way to get them on a base. BTW, that Borax Mule train is 1/48-ish scale, but I'm building it anyway!

Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3
Oh wow… never knew MPC did aircraft kits. Very cool find! A great deal on a pair of Mustangs. MPC Re-boxed numerous Airfix kits (the good ones and the bad ones :giggles: ). Yeah, I built a whole mess of MPC Profile Series aircraft, I loved their box art! I think there are five I didn't build, but m...

The Duke's Second Aircraft Done in April
Yes, I have completed another troublesome aircraft, this time it's the old Italeri US Air Force B-66 Destroyer before it was converted to a Red Crown ELINT aircraft. I had painted, stripped and repainted this numerous times so this is another great "three-foot" model: https://modelersallia...

Re: Maddog Manufacturing Open for 2024
Thank you Carlos! Yeah, I looked up all the German-made Syrian vehicles and the StuG with Zimm was painted tan, along with most of the PzIV's. There were other StuG's without zimm that were painted a Russian dark green like the T-32/85's. Now I need to try and figure out the mounting for the Italian...
