I've had some Tamiya kits that were just incredible in there molded state. Polished and cleared this Porsche a bit back.

Oh wow - that's a heck of an alignment issue. Ya not all Hasegawa kits are gems. Most are, but not all.

I should have know that Stuart. Just followed a beautiful build of this kit on another forum and I have one in the stash . I'll be following along with your build.
