Re: My Scarcity
Sorry to hear that, Lyle. My wife had a similar experience some years ago, that was the result of a potassium deficiency. She has had no re-occurrences but takes a supplement for that.

Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build
Precision work, Chris! I've made progress on the A6M3 and the A6M2K. The meatballs have been painted on the A6M3, with a thin spacer mask so there will be an unpainted ring around each one. No white surrounds on this one. Then I put on a mottle of dark green on the top side. There is a distinctive p...

I'm using white glue for all my pe parts unless they are external. Holds very well and if I goof up it just peels off when cured.

You are certainly right on this one, though at first you would think they just moved some parts around and added that short section behind the front seat. That's what I thought until I started putti...

Re: Get a Job
Years ago I use to make it a point to make a fuel stop at Winslow on the way to Texas just for the Mexican food at the restaurant there. It was also mid point more or less on the route, but that was beside the point.

Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build
Carlos, they may have all been modifications of existing airframes, but always with the type 11/21 engine installations. I'll have to read through Francillon again. It is said that there is no real documentation for what the rear cockpit really looked like.

Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build
Because all my current projects are waiting for paint to dry, or in the case of the Alfetta my loins to gird, I am starting on the A6M2-K. I am confused as to why it is called an A6M2-K and not an A6M5-K, as it has the wing of the A6M5. Whatever. Pictures later tonight as I am off to my grandson's b...
