Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build

I totally reworked the spinner. Separated the blades. Glued the spinner together, filled, sanded, scribed, drilled mounting holes for the blades, primed, painted. Created connectors for each blade. https://i.postimg.cc/jS1Nhn4X/2024-GB-1-48-TAM-A6-M2-N-RUFE-IW-1024-6984.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/4xy...

Re: Latest Acquesitions - pt.3

The Airfix A-7 isn't a bad kit, although lacking in modern detail (the weapons suck) it does have a full intake trunking and the shape looks good. I built one as part of Manny's Airfix Groupie GB back in 2015 - not my best work... And it's one of the few Airfix kits with.... wait for it.... WHEEL W...

Re: Empire of the Rising Sun Group Build

The Antenna mast in the legacy Tamiya A6M2 kit is possibly the worst molded part in the kit. Trying to clean it up with hobby knife and sandpaper it snapped in two with one half flying off into oblivion. The same thing happened again with one I had in the spares box.
