Re: 1/72 Italeri He 111H-6
Good work on the He-111. I have got the Italeri He-111Z, basically the same kit. Looks like a heck of a lot of work to get it up to the standard your build is.

Re: Trumpeter P-47 Raid Hot Mama
If the rest of kit is going to be like the engine this is going to be great.

Re: Kitbash MPM/Academy XP-47H
Did some minor work yesterday, I opened several intakes. All the MPM parts are closed (remember, this is an early MPM kit) http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r7/rg99/XP-47H/93DC316A-6852-451A-B40F-89018E4271F6_zpsybbxt8yd.jpg http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r7/rg99/XP-47H/3372CFDD-F33C-475F-B702-...

Re: 1/48 Yakovlev UT-1b / Mikro-Mir
With the engine being such a prominent feature I can understand why you choose an AM engine. The kit's engine is probably not that great since it is a short run kit.
Knowing Vector products that is probably going to add a lot to the overall look of the model.

Re: 1/48 Yakovlev UT-1b / Mikro-Mir
I just saw a review for an am Shetssov engine:

Maybe it is a nice add on for your build.

Re: Kitbash MPM/Academy XP-47H
Here is how I found it in the box. I already had done some work on the exhaust. And glued the cockpit in before painting, what was I thinking? http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r7/rg99/XP-47H/67C1088D-CEC4-4440-B14E-C381B4C76FB9_zpsoxux0fiv.jpg Here is a pic to show how the MPM kit is inaccurate. Re: SH 1/72 B+V P.212
Here are pics of my completed B+V P. 212. The build was quite easy, I did add some details to the cockpit and wheel wells. The backstory behind the color scheme is that the production was decentralised. Different factories made the wings and fuselage. Thus this "mix and match" of might fig...
