Thanks Stuart. I can’t say enough good things about this kit. Although I will say that Hobbyboss took a few shortcuts and did not provided some US specific items such as water jugs or D-handle shovel, instead keeping the UK versions of those items. I ended up using some from my spares for those items.

This is shaping up nicely Tom! Sorry to hear about your bout with Covid, but at least the strain is pretty tame now compared to four years ago. :wink: Now if they could only come up with a cure for tweezers that launch those little parts into the Twilight Zone… :hmm:

This past Saturday we had session 2 of our 12 hour build challenge. I finished building all sub assemblies, stowage items & weapons, then was able to get them all primed in black using Mig Ammo One Shot Primer. https://i.postimg.cc/cJdFxcqg/IMG-9529.jpg And of course I had to test fit everything...

The Tamiya Lancaster dates originally from 1975, so it just missed your cut off date... ah well, it never hurts to ask. :wink:
