Re: Achtung, Spitfire!!!!

I do like those colors! Not the usual day fighter temperate schemes… :hmm: No they're not are they? The Mediterranean theatre especially seems a real hotch-potch of different schemes - most of it non-standard, that's why I'm enjoying this sheet so much. And you will find that instead of squadron co...

Re: A freshly hatched Viper from Moebius.

I say I've got many planes, but what I have are several half planes or planes that have been completely ruined by stealing one part from it to use somewhere else. Same thing with my whole pile. Only one or two have ever been picked up with any intention of building it. Most kits I own are strictly ...

Re: The Bench Of Doom

Nice and colorful! Although I gotta confess I prefer the early Hornet markings for that squadron when the atomic skull was on the outboard surfaces of the vertical stabilizers.

Re: EDUARD Distributor Leaflet May 2024

The Mustang combo does look nice... as do all the new detail accessories for P-51s. The 1/48 Weekend D-Day Spitfire IX is VERY tempting... but does every Mk.IX have to be in Johnny Johnson's markings? :hmm: LOL I agree, it's almost as bad as VF-84 markings on a Tomcat! (Which, I hasten to add, my T...

I used the Humbrol Midnight Blue with Model Master Blue Angels Yellow on my Hornet build last year

Re: Get a Job

Tom, you are too much... :giggles: https://i.postimg.cc/cHWmFcT1/IMG_0452.jpg Torben, indeed it is a neat job, but it sure has ben an adjustment period as well. It has been quite physical to do much of the work all day long. But I do get to see all kinds of neat stuff and see what is really out ther...

Re: Eduard 1/48 Hawker Tempest II

What?! John is working in 1/48? On a Post WWII aircraft?! :wow: :tease: Well, in any case I'm sure that this will be a great looking build to follow along. Man it sure does look to be a beauty of a kit! I wonder if Eduard tackle a Sea Fury in 1/48, since the Tempest II and Sea Fury are rather close ...
