Re: Fokker C.X by AZmodel 1/72
Unfortunately, need to take some time-off with this kit. :bored: https://i.postimg.cc/85DFmtfW/IMG-1412.jpg As much as I wanted to finish this build... but I've run out of patience for a kit that requires more faith than engineering... :whiteflag: So back in the box it goes, waiting for better times...

Re: Fokker C.X by AZmodel 1/72
Had forgot what short run kits also tend to have, fit issues.. The upperwing halves are not equally sized. https://i.postimg.cc/tC5p8zqb/IMG-1131.jpg Luckily this is an easy fix, just some sanding and voila, no one even knows.. https://i.postimg.cc/SNPbDGSj/IMG-1277.jpg Fuselage halves attached, no ...

Great idea, Carlos—and that’s exactly what I’m going to try. Counting the ribs, I see 18-19 in the photo. I looked online and the other walkarounds aren’t clear. As I keep looking for good interior reference I did see this 1/72 version by Taranaga (?) I’m not sure of the spelling which features 20-...

Re: Fokker C.X by AZmodel 1/72
And voila, the decal set of FAF letter type I had was indeed also for scale 1/72. https://i.postimg.cc/zvBRy3PT/IMG-1090.jpg The instruction sheet is very basic, though the number of parts is very limited as well, about 30:ish +/- a few. https://i.postimg.cc/x8CbXqF5/IMG-1097.jpg Since short-run kit...

Re: Fokker C.X by AZmodel 1/72
Oh nice! Odd set of skis though. I love building oddball and unique subjects. Haven’t done one in awhile. Thanks Tom! - Kari The use of skis and sleds was developed concurrently by bush pilots in Alaska. Pilots like Mr Reeves here were independent contractors who worked the government contracts; Re...

Thanks Mike, quite funny, but that's true what you say!Medicman71 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 03, 2026 9:13 am Very interesting! I've seen kits like this in the model magazines and wondered who actually built them. Glad to see you building one.

An Amazing build Carlos!
So many tasty details in that build.
Can just agree with the gentlemen John, Bruce and Stuart.
