Re: One of my first

For the first build in big scale after such a long break there could be worse kits than the Tamiya Spitfire. :)
Like said above, a spectacular sight. The base is like a well matching frame around a masterly painting.

Re: My Luftwaffe collection

Adorable collection, every build deserves a second and third look. Would like to see the whole squadron on one picture.

Do two of them stand on unpainted wheels or is it the resolution of the pics that tricks my eyes?

Re: 1/48 Freedom Model X-47B UCAS

Looks a bit like a star destroyer on the last pics.
I like the slightly diffuse paintwork.

Great choice of subject. You can identify all those blue and grey tones from a b/w photo? Respect, you must be a Corsair crack!

Re: Modellers' Table Hamburg - Germany

Of course every hamburger can order a Hamburger here and other glutamate flooded things. (Fermis is from Hamburg, too, if I remember that right. But unfortunately the fake one from Michigan...) The most important thing all's rotating around, beside the models, is the german beer. If one of...

Modellers' Table Hamburg - Germany

We're a loose organized bunch of modellers who meet about every second month. No membership required, no club rules. Just chatting, drinking and sharing our great hobby. There are always between 35 and 50 people around with lots of models (build and unbuild). Some pictures from our last meeting on t...

Re: 1/48 Hasegawa Fw 190 (Egon Mayer)

 Building the same one for the GB also with the decals from the Eagle Strike sheet, Eduard kit though. Great reference, thank you! :D I also work on the Hasegawa A-4 from Mayer with the large air intakes on it. He used it in the same period like his A-5 especially for sorties against high fly...

Yep. Would help to limit the financial losses and to minimize the reputation damage. Smart way to go.

Re: Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-5 Eduard 1/48

Thank you very much, Thomas and pzl66. Glad you like it! Don't know what happend with the QB cowling. Our member Norman had the same issues with his one. All dimensions of the part were too small, so I guess they used badly mixed resin that shrinked after casting. :?: Spend two evenings with preshad...
