Re: Eduard kits

From what I've heard and read, most of their kits are great. Unless it's a rebox of someone else's kit like the P-39.

Re: 1/35 Trumpeter M1133 Stryker MEV

So I tested using the Tamiya weathering sets. Here's two wheels from the Stryker that I tested. The one on the right is the one I tested and the one on the left is the untested one. I'm really liking how it turned out. http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb288/Medicman71/E264846D-DED6-4E73-828D-DAE0E...

Re: 1/48 Revell A-7A Corsair II Review Build

So there you have the box and contents. I'll be building the US Navy jet. Bear with me as I'm a slow builder and this is my first build review.

Re: 1/48 Revell A-7A Corsair II Review Build

There's only 129 parts on four sprues of light grey plastic. It kit has decent detail with raised panel lines and rivets (GASP!! :o ). Detail is not great in some areas like the wheel bays and cockpit. The tail hook is molded onto the fuselage halves. http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb288/Medicma...

Re: 1/48 Revell A-7A Corsair II Review Build

The instructions are typical of Revell's usual style. There's 11 build stages and two painting/decaling guides. http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb288/Medicman71/WIP2-1.jpg The decals look decent but maybe a little thick. There's two options in the decals. One for a US Navy CAG jet with VA-22. The...

1/48 Revell A-7A Corsair II Review Build

Hey everyone! I was graciously given the opportunity to do a build review of the recently released Revell 1/48 A-7A Corsair II. This kit was originally released in 1979 (the date is molded onto one of the horizontal stabs). The kit box. http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb288/Medicman71/11237998-C2...

Re: The Mighty Eighth Official TEaser

It is just a movie. I don't put a lot of stock into the "Inspired By True Events" line because it's a movie and not a documentary.
