Trying to get caught up here on things and saw you finished this. Great job all around on this! Love the finish on it!

I just watched this week’s The Very, Very Best of the 70s on AXS channel and the feature was Top 10 Famous Rides of the 70s. #10 was “The Striped Tomato” Starsky & Hutch Ford Torino. #2 was the General Lee and #1 was Smokey & the Bandit Trans Am.

A bit of trivia I didn’t know but the show did mention it. Originally they wanted to use a green Camaro but the Torino got the nod due to cost. I wondered if they wanted to use the 70 1/2 Baldwin Camaro since it too, had the stripe as well.

I’ve always been a sucker for the 71 Cuda in the movie Phantasm... but then I have a 73 340 4spd.... :grin:
