KLP E-Book: Building the Revell Me 262B-1/U1 Nachtjäger

Post by jkim »

Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing well. Still working on trying to re-ignite my modeling mojo but the hectic holiday season isn't making things easier. Hopefully I'll get to working on a model soon. But in the meantime... check out this e-book featuring my build of the Revell Me262B-1/U1 Nachtjager kit! Some of you may be familiar with this model as it was shared, start to finish, on the Aircraft Work in Progress board.

Nice to see you here again John. I sure do remember this build. Congrats on getting a published book on your project.

Welcome back John! Glad to see you posting again. Yes, I remember this build as well. You know you've made it as a Master Modeler when you get an article like that published like you have. Way to go!

Been wondering where you've been. I totally understand the ebb and flow of modeling mojo. Congratulations on getting that fantastic build published. I remember it well.
Thanks,

Thanks Carlos! I haven't yet started building models again but am hoping that will be soon! I've got some gun questions though... maybe I'll post over on that gun section.

Thanks Duke! I'm not sure about Master Modeler status... I think this was more a function of having an existing build that was clearly described and documented with good photos. At least, that is what I was told!

Thanks man! I'm actually proud of myself! I printed a hard copy of my first e-book (the Ta152H-0 build) and it got a lot of oohs and ahhs from my relatives over the Thanksgiving break. One of my uncles made off with it!

Thanks brother! For whatever reason, I have not been able to get into the modeling mood! Lots of things happening, especially during the holidays.

Thanks John! Practically speaking, I look at the build thread as the go-to document. It's very useful to reference online builds and I often refer to my own start-to-finish posts since I've built the same aircraft more than once. But having the build in a hard copy book form is great, especially when sharing with people that don't know what model building is.

That's awesome John! :shoutout: :shoutout: :shoutout:

That was a fabulous build - it deserves it's own book.
