Yup! And that is too bad, because they made lots of kits that I would love to have bought. I wonder what was the cause of their shutdown.

Agree, they had a number of subjects no one else had, at least in 1:48 I guess.

My LHB has still quite big selection left, so… :hmm:

Also curious to know why, but nevertheless, I believe there will be other companies wanting some of their sprue molds, so might be we will still see KH re-born

They did have some more kits I was wanting to get. My kitty hawk voodoo came with a broken canopy I contacted them about it and they wanted $15 to send me a new one. I could see if I broke it but a brand new unopen kit?

While this really sucks, their reputation hasn't been the greatest. Some of their choices haven't been real smart either like all the Blackhawk/Seahawk kits in 1/35. In that scale it puts the price way out of most peoples range especially now. DoogsATX has a YouTube video that he talks about what he thinks did them in and I have to agree with him (SHOCKER!!!!!).

True about their reputation. More than a few guys in IPMS and AMPS have complained about the fit of their kits. I suppose modeling skills required is a fair warning from what I’ve heard. I wouldn’t know myself as I only have one of their kits in my stash right now, and haven’t touched it. But they made a whole bunch of 1/48 aircraft kits that I would like to have bought and built. Otherwise your options for those same subjects are fair to non existent… I don’t mind challenging kits, but overpriced challenging kits? I will hold off until they are more affordable.

I have four of their kits in the stash and I wish there were more. There's some subjects that they've done that no ones else has and may not do again for a long time. I'd like to try and get the US Navy kits that they've done before I can't anymore.

Yeah I've seen some big threads running on various places of the interweb and Facebook.

I'd agree with you Mike, Personally I think it's a combination of over priced kits for what they are, bad reputation and crap customer interaction/service.

I have the SU-17 in the stash, I mainly brought it just to see what all of the fuss was about.

They caught a bad rap for alot of their kits but I didn't see much of an issue with what they had. I haven't built one yet and do have their Huey in my stash. Really too bad because they did offer a good range of subject material.
