USS Arizona find...

Post by BlackSheep214 »

I’ve subscribed to oldmodelkits website and do get regular emails of new vintage kits listed there. One kit caught my eye but not in a “gotta buy it” sense but a very unique item up for sale.

It is the Revell Documented Arizona Factory Display owned by Esther Ross, who christened the USS Arizona:

The description and history is a fascinating and interesting read. If the kit is purchased, the customer is required to have insurance for shipping and will be delivered by a special courier. Oh... the purchased price is $3800.

Well it sure qualifies as a unique issue of that kit with a serious bit of history behind that specific build. But I’d be curious to see who will buy it for that price.

Wow! Interesting bit of history.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..
