It is indeed! I was worried that it would be a problem but thankfully it wasn’t this time.

Looks great, Carlos. Hope it doesn't end up like the one in the video!

Yeah, I'm not looking forward to trying it on my Norseman. From what I remember there's a lot of yellow to paint. I need to find the box and decals anyway so that might be awhile...

I commend you on the smooth and straight wing edges.

Alongside my Zero I've been building this little Airfix Hurricane. It was one of the kits my kids gave me for Fathers day.

Its gone together okay, not as well as the Zero, but good enough - the fit of the wing wasn't the best.

Started painting it up a few days ago, and I've just got as far as the first coat of Dark Earth. The paints are a mix of Citadel and Hataka.

This an early 'Battle of France' model, so the underside is black and white.

Hopefully I'll get the second coat of brown on tomorrow.

Cheers!

Got the front clip on the Mustang. Need to fill it from the inside though... then repaint the front.

Man... I love those black & white underside schemes. The early Spits has them too.

The Hurricane is looking good Stuart! Ya gotta love those early war black and white undersides! :wow:

Been working on my Zero some more over the past couple of days. First I applied a gloss coat, allowed that to dry overnite, then today was decals. Since the kit decals were probably at least 35 years old, so I hit them with a dose of Micro Decal Film. Unfortunately the red stripes for the wing no step areas did not survive, in spite of the coat. But all the other kit decals came out ok. And I used some Aeromaster Hinomarus instead of the kit decals, since the real aircraft had the white borders overpainted with green, while the kit decals had the white edging. Anyways…

just a bit more of a ways to go now on this one…
