Good stuff, there can never be enough of paint!
I'm also looking for a set of US weapons, mainly bombs, but my set of LHS:s just show sold-outs

Re: Latest Acquisitions:
Good scores fellas!
I haven't run across one of those Meng GT-40's yet but will say that as of late there's now a slew of 1/24 GT-40 kits available. I guess the public outcry for another release was just too much after the Ferrari vs. Ford movie. Hey....if that's what helped then so be it. It was ridiculous NOT to have GT-40 kits readily available and now they are affordable. lol Good score John.

Don’t tell that to my wife. She keeps telling me I don’t need more paint for model kits. I tell her I’ve run out of those colors...KSaarni wrote:Good stuff, there can never be enough of paint!

Way to go!
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

Seven point six-two. That's the real deal!

Re: Latest Acquisitions:
I don't think I posted this but these came in just before the move. Both are "second edition" books.

Re: Latest Acquisitions:
Torben, that 7.62 is indeed the real deal!
Mike, more books never hurt…
So the past 48 hours has been good to my stash…
Yesterday this eBay purchase arrived in the mail
It’s slightly started, but very nicely so I must say.
Then at Phoenix IPMS, it was swap meet time. My first score was awesome…
This baby usually sell for way over $100, the seller was asking substantially less…
Then I open it up later on and what do I find inside? This lovely batch of decals! With markings in 1/72 and 1/48 for multiple types: F-105, F-4, A-4, A-6, and A-7! Seeing as how I don’t build in 1/72, I’ll be getting rid of those markings…
Then I found this dinosaur… seeing as how Kitty Hawk just went flat line, this is probably the only way that I’ll be able to get myself a 1/48 RF-101A/C. Modeling skills required. I haven’t done a vacuform in about 40 years…
Then I also picked up a partial Hasegawa 1/48 US Bombs set. I always need more Rockeyes and Napalm, which it did have. Along with the Mk. 83’s and Mk.84’s…. too bad the Snakeyes were gone… not worth taking a photo though…
That’s all for now…
