I used to. Vehicle was literally just picked up.
To make each build less crappy than the last one. Or, put another way, "Better than the last one, not as good as the next one!"..

As a die hard Nissan driver, you need to be chastised for taking a NISSAN to a CHEVY dealership. They don't know what a real reliable vehicle looks like. :ballbat:

I beg to differ. I've had three Nissans. Two had well over 200K miles on them before I got rid of them. My current Nissan Xterra has close to 170K and runs like a champ!! We've had two Chevy's and they were horrible. Things would fall apart out of nowhere after only a couple of years.

Oh and my next vehicle will probably be a Toyota.

Toyota builds good cars. I had a first-year Celica (1971 model) that was a great little ride. And perhaps it's been the nature of our experiences with Nissan Corp. but from 2001 until today, we've had Nissan family products and not one single issue in that time. But our experience has all been leasing brand new cars and trading them in for another after the lease ended; I think the 2004 "slabside" Maxima had the most mileage when traded because it was a four year lease in order to get the payments down to our level and it had around 48,000 at the end.

My Dad bought a new Datsun pickup in 1973. It was basic to say the least. But that little truck had a pair of overload springs on the bottom of the rear leaf springs that were almost 1/2'' thick. We once picked up 1,400 (14x100 lb bags) pounds of ground corn at a mill thirty miles from home and that truck just barely sat level. Of course, that little 1.6 four wouldn't go much over 50 mph with that load. It was a long, slow ride home...

The Datsun and Nissan that I’ve owned both had problems around the 100,000 mile mark. I’m not a fan of their long term reliability. Overseas for my deployment, we drove a mix of Toyota and Nissan large SUVs for our non tactical vehicles when we were on “low profile” patrols. I much preferred driving the Toyota’s.
