I haven't bought any yet, because I only want a few in a 6x12 size to store cleaning rods for the guns.

In most cases you can buy as few as 100 bags of the sizes and varying thicknesses. They start at 2 mil and go up. Smallest I saw was a 1"x1" bag up to "I can store my car".
