Me neither but ponder this...

Why should we run to Ukraine's side? We are doing our part putting sanctions on Russia. That's enough for us. I am 100% against sending our troops to the Ukraine in helping defend the country.

My take? Let Russia take back the Ukraine. Kiev was once a part of the USSR, remember? Russia is having their fair share of protests over the invasion from their own citizens. Let the citizens of Russia show Putin their displeasure of the invasion.

It's time we worry about fixing the mess were already having from high inflation, high gas prices, unemployment rates, mandates, etc...

Do please delate if this if you feel this is out of line. I don't want to clog Stuart's thread with this nor Mike's.

I don't have any modern Russian Migs or jets in my stash. However, I've always wanted this kit....

Big fan of the Russian airframes aesthetically. That's a great looking plane and camo/markings - you should get that one and build it!
Thanks,
John

Everything thats come up about him has been faked. But, i still want to beleive.
I dont care if its a propaganda engine. The thought of the big bully getting his @$$ handed to him with his own weapons makes me happy.
Ive been seeing a few videos from ukraine on how to start and drive "abandoned" russian military vehicles lol.
And of course the video of the ukrainian farmer towing the russian tank with his tractor.
In saying that this came to me in my inbox today from Hannants.

We have been sent this email by our friend Taras at Armory in Ukraine.

Some of this information is "historical". By that we mean that these are not necessarily new accounts that have just been set up following Putins invasion but have been active for several years. Hence situation 1, is not possible to do now.

Please forward this to as many people as you can so we can get as much help as possible to our Ukrainian friends....

Dear Business friends,

It became irrelevant what day of the week here for us, in Ukraine. All
we know and live by is that for us today is the 4th day of our fight
for our own country and keeping up our united front for the rest of
the Free World.

We are endlessly grateful to all of you for all your kind letters of
support and highly appreciate your offers of help to provide a
shelter/temporary asylum to our families.

We have received many questions regarding how you can help Ukraine.
Currently we need protection equipment such as body armour, helmets
and webbing to staff our territorial defense volunteers. Also - the
money to buy military and First Aid supplies for our boys and girls,
men and women at the frontline.

There are few ways of doing so:
1. Just buy different Ukrainian products (not only model kits). About
15-18% of the price you pay will be transferred to our Armed Forces.

2. We are offering you to contact directly our Non-profit Armed Forces
Support / Volunteer organisations where you can make your direct
donations:

a. The Ukrainian National Bank, a single official account to support
the Ukraine’s Armed Forces:
https://bank.gov.ua/en/news/all/natsion ... ebi-armiyi
This is a special purpose Bank account to carry out centralised
purchases of Army supplies and equipment.

b. One of the biggest Ukrainian Volunteer Funds "Come Back Alive",
https://savelife.in.ua/en/donate/

Thank You in advance for your support!
God with us.
Together to Victory.
Glory to Ukraine!

Yes, the “video” of the Ghost has been “fact checked” as video game footage by several different outlets. That being said, the Ukrainian Air Force is still in the fight, so one week in, up against one of the strongest air force’s in the world, it speaks volumes.

On a personal level, a couple of kits in my stash about which I had wondered how to build and mark have now been slotted for my forthcoming 1/48 scale Ukrainian Air Force. At the very least I will be building a Flanker and Hind as Ukrainian. Now to find some decals for them…

Thanks for sharing those links!

Yeah I think it was basically a myth, but a good story non the less. The Ukrainian Air Force is very much still in the fight and has been handed a large amount of jets by other Eastern European countries - about 70 all told.

My kit has turned up -
