Going to be a great project Bruce! Will be eagerly awaiting more
March as one, Don't look back
Odin's sons... Attack!
Unleash hell! Do not repent! Warfare grants us no lament
Let your weapons slash and tear This is no place for fear
Hold the lines! Move as one! In unity our victory's won
Our shields will form a mighty wall
United we shall never fall

Mark,

We should probably dedicate half a day to taking any photos to allow you time to transport and set up everything. Maybe we could use the Hobby Day space. I’d have to bring lights unless you want to photograph outside on a stand. Well, that is something to think about for the future! I will catch up on your projects and be in touch.

Re: windscreen. Laird designed a top piece. If I get stuck I think I can fabricate this. Note that in the photo the windscreen is open and pushed forward.

I am preparing to build another biplane as a commission. The client met one of my requirements, which was to pick up the completed model in person, so he is coming from out of state. I do not expect this project to go on hold, but to run in parallel to the other. I will be posting details about the other when the kit arrives.

Just a note on Juneteenth to let folks know I changed the title to the 1930 version. This will take me a bit less work. I still hope to incorporate the engine and update the details.

This is a cool looking project. I love these old racers. There was something special about them.

Those decals look good. It’s amazing at the selection of decals from small makers nowadays. Although I do miss the extensive lines from Micro Scale and Aeromaster that used to be available.

Thanks. I agree. I’m looking forward to receiving them. As I indicated above, scheduling this project is important and a little tricky. It’s a passion piece. I want to build to a higher standard. Plus, I am about to receive the Fairey Swordfish kit and extras to build for a fella in New Mexico.

That is fantastic, congratulations on the commission! That will be another one I will follow!
