This the old 1970's boxing of the MB F-16A/B I've been working on for the company's 50th anniversary, with a few bits from the failed Tamiya CJ build I was working last year. I couldn't decide on a load out so in the end I left it configured for air defence. The early winders are from an old Airfix F-15A kit - I thought the white would contrast well with the grey/black ones fitted to my Airfix Viper.
Paints are mainly Hataka, with a few others, applied with a brush.
It's not a bad kit this, even though it was released before the aircraft entered service. Obviously there are much better modern kits but this has pure nostalgia.
Happy 50th MB, thanks for the memories (and screw you Robert Viles!)
Cheers!

Very nice work Stuart! I always liked that unit’s markings.

That’s a keeper! Great job.

Beautiful work Stuart! Very nicely done. That first pic looks like it's on the alert pad ready to scramble. I love the background; what is it and where is it from?
