Yeah, I vaguely recall seeing these or similar photos of your hobby room. Crowded indeed. You outnumber my current completed builds by about a 5 to 1 ratio. Of course if I had kept all of the ones that I’ve disposed of, that would probably be closer to a 2 to 1 ratio…
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do in this hobby!

Thanks Kari! Yes, they are very packed. As I mentioned above, I should get some more updated pics of that room. Yes, a lot of ships: my current count of finished ships is 297. I should finish some more ships and bring that count over 300...

It has been awhile, but here is the finished Patton tank that I did for my Tribute Build in commemoration for all the friends I lost:

Chad Lebo aka Zod

Cliff aka New Mex

Rich Durham

and Carl aka Shellback,

And one other friend that some former LEMurs may recognize: Ken Tinsley whom I've heard has not been doing very well. This tank is done as one from his old unit.

And now here it is after all this time: my 1/35th scale Dragon M-48A3 Patton tank; the second only 1/35th scale tank I ever built. (My first was a Pz-38t done when I was eight)










Yes, the gun does look misaligned in this last pic; it is an optical illusion as I've already checked it for true.

Our Patton display was one amazing display that had 90 Pattons of all variants in it. What a massive collection and we took First Place in the Group Build category.

I know: this thread is worthless without pics, so give me some time. I have a ton to get re-sized, saved and posted.

Thanks Carlos. I didn't get the chance to get that photo of the whole collection. I did do a video on my phone but can't get it off there to post here. Hopefully someone has one somewhere I can get. If you are in the area sometime Carlos, stop by Brookhurst. Henry said something about making room for the whole display in his store.
